Crystal Clear Captions is a free Chrome extension that provides enhanced captions for YouTube videos, including speaker identification and word-by-word highlighting. The service is provided “as is” and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

3. Free Service

Crystal Clear Captions is free to use. We do not charge for the basic caption features and have no current plans to do so. However, we reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the extension for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use the extension to collect data about other users
  • Redistribute or resell the extension or its content

5. Intellectual Property

The Crystal Clear Captions extension, including its code, design, and content, is owned by uListen. The caption content displayed is derived from video audio and remains the intellectual property of the original content creators.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Captions will be 100% accurate
  • The service will be available for all videos
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, uListen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the extension.

8. Third-Party Services

The extension operates on YouTube, which is a service owned by Google. Your use of YouTube is subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with Google or YouTube.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
